Bahá'í Pilgrimage Part 1: The Trip
The night before we should leave we went to bed angry. Our bed had collapsed under our jumping children and we were forced to sleep on the floor. We didn't think it was the children's fault, because a bed should be made to endure them jumping. Or??? But the idea to come home after the pilgrimage and not having a bed to sleep on did not appeal to us.As we were going to fly to Israel (transferring in Prague), we were prepared to have sharp security controls and long queuinglines. Nothing of that though: no questions, no opening of bags, no queuinglines. The only problem we had was a disfunctioning computer at the check-in in Copenhagen and we had to wait only because of that. This made us miss a nice Danish hakkebřf dish, but the Czeck guláš a knedlíky was just as delicious.
We were completely exhausted when we arrived at the guesthouse in Haifa after a whole night of travelling and fell asleep directly to wake up next morning when the pilgrimage would start. No comments
