The Unseen ...
Know thou of a certainty that the Unseen can in no wise incarnate His Essence and reveal it unto men. He is, and has ever been, immensely exalted beyond all that can either be recounted or perceived. Bahá'u'lláh, Gleanings, nr. XX
As God is unknowable, we cannot prove His existence or non-existence to each other. I took part in a discussion about this subject in our local newspaper. You who understand Swedish can read (and react on) my input here.

Mr. James McGilligan, who visited us in September, are at last developed! And - Hurray Hurray - these were on the very last filmroll we ever will develop, because we've now bought a real digital camera!

Libelle ('Dragonfly')
As a Bahá'í one usually lives in a multicultural community. As a Dutch citizen, living in Holland, I belonged to the Dutch minority in the Dutch Bahá'í Community. Because of the different cultures people come from, one can sometimes be part of funny situations. Here a small story I wrote for the Dutch ladiesmagazine 'Libelle' which was published last summer. Sorry, only for you who understand Dutch.
Ruhi in our town (2)
Since at least 10 years so-called Ruhi-courses are organized all over the world. Last saturday - at last! - we have started this course in our small town on the Swedish west coast. Ruhi-courses are constructed by and for the Bahá'ís to educate themselves about their own religion, the Bahá'í Faith, ŕnd in further service to mankind. Though, even non-Bahá'ís are welcome to participate. We are a small group of four people who started the studies with deepening about the life of the soul and life after death.A universal auxiliary language
A universal auxiliary language is one of the steps to the establishment of world peace, according to the Bahá'í Faith. Today our local newspaper published my letter which was an answer on earlier published letters of esperantists and interlinguists who conquered about which language would be the best. You who understand Swedish can read my letter here.
Indoctrination?
My husband and me are bahá'ís (followers of Bahá'u'lláh) since a long time and we give our two children in a bahá'í upbringing. Sometimes people criticize us for indoctrinating our children. I don't really understand this. I don't remember my (catholic) parents being criticized for taking us to church; no-one makes any problem when football-loving parents buy their children a football and take them to football matches and who attacks the atheist for not teaching his child about God?So why us? I think it has mostly to do with fear for brainwashing. But on the contrary we teach our daugther and son to think for themselves, to see with their own eyes and to hear with their own ears.
Because I love my children, I want to give them the best. I give them healthy food and the opportunity to attend a good ... (more)
