Ruhi in our town

We are preparing to set up a Ruhi book 1 course in our town. With a small group of friends we will study the life of the spirit and we hope to start in the beginning of December. The whole Ruhi-sequence exists of 7 books with still more in development.

The goal of Ruhi-courses is to increase the individual's understanding of themselves and their relation to God as well as preparing them to become positive members of society who actively strive towards unity of mankind.

The Birthday of the Báb

On Friday, the 20th of October we celebrated the Birthday of the Báb by saying prayers and listening to live violinmusic.

The Báb, Whose name means 'Gate', was the forerunner of our Profet Bahá'u'lláh. Bahá'ís call Profets: Manifestations of God. Besides being the forerunner, the Báb was a Manifestation of God Himself too which makes the Bahá'í Faith unique among the worldreligions that otherwise only have one Manifestation. The Holy Book reveiled by the Báb is called 'The Bayan' and has the same status as the Bible, Koran and Bahá'úlláhs Scriptures.

The body of the Báb is burried in a beautiful Shrine in Haifa, Israel.

Handmade Postcard

The girls who are students at the below mentioned Barli Institute produce postcards of handmade paper with a picture on handwoven cotton. This postcard, which we received from our guest mr. James McGilligan, pictures a girl cooking on solar energy.
